Peter Yang serves as Vice President, Technology of Varetis, Inc., where he leads the Company’s technology strategy, enterprise architecture, systems modernization, cybersecurity, and innovation initiatives. He is responsible for aligning technology investments with business objectives while ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of technology platforms supporting customer operations and corporate growth.
Peter brings more than 25 years of experience spanning systems engineering, software development, network architecture, cloud technologies, healthcare information systems, and federal technology operations. Prior to assuming his current leadership role, he supported numerous federal customers through the design, development, deployment, and operational management of mission-critical technology solutions.
During his career, Peter has provided technical leadership for programs supporting FEMA, the Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Administration for Children and Families, and the Department of Defense. His experience includes electronic medical records, emergency response technologies, cloud-hosted systems, enterprise applications, systems integration, cybersecurity, and technology modernization initiatives.
Peter plays a central role in advancing Varetis’ technology vision and modernization strategy, helping the Company leverage technology, analytics, automation, and emerging capabilities to improve performance, strengthen compliance, and deliver better decisions and predictable outcomes for customers.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a concentration in Computer Networks from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
