Mary Alice Piorkowski serves as Vice President, People & Culture for Varetis, Inc., where she leads the Company’s human capital strategy, people operations, employee relations, workforce compliance, talent management, and culture initiatives. She is responsible for developing and executing people strategies that support organizational growth, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure compliance across a multi-state workforce and federal contracting environment.
Mary Alice brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources, people operations, and organizational development. Her expertise spans employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, benefits administration, change management, and organizational effectiveness. Throughout her career, she has partnered with leaders to develop scalable HR programs, improve workforce performance, strengthen compliance, and create positive employee experiences that support business objectives.
Prior to joining Varetis, Mary Alice served in progressive HR leadership roles supporting regulated and government contracting organizations. She has led employee relations and compliance initiatives, managed workplace investigations, implemented process improvements, and supported organizational growth through strategic talent and workforce planning.
